By: L.A. Wolves FC Praslin, a U.S.-born dual national, solidified a starting spot at fullback with L.A. Wolves FC Reserve Team during the UPSL 2019 Spring Season. He will play for the Nicaragua Youth Under-19 National Team in a series of friendlies scheduled for this Fall. L.A. Wolves FC President Yan Skwara said, "Congratulations to Donovan on being chosen by the Nicaragua Under-19s. Everyone knows that it's an honor to represent your country, and Donovan has the rare talent that will allow him to do that. It was exciting to see him wear the L.A. Wolves FC badge this season, and we wish him the very best of luck in his footballing career." Praslin, 16, is a native of Diamond Bar (Calif.) and currently is a senior at Claremont (Calif.) High School. He recently played for Covina (Calif.)-based L.A. Surf SC at the prestigious Iber Cup in Spain, and previously won the Gothia Cup in Sweden playing for Dallas Texans SC. L.A. Wolves FC Fullback Donovan Praslin said, "With all the experiences that I've already had, I just want to take the next step and I think I'm ready for it. I'd like to thank L.A. Wolves FC and for the opportunity to play for L.A. Wolves during the Spring Season. It was a great experience and I wish the Wolves the best of success." Praslin was part of the U.S. Club Soccer's Nike ID2 Camp, and has been a member of the U.S. Olympic Development Program. He was recently selected by Nicaragua's Youth National Team for a Round of 16 Game at the 2019 CONCACAF Championships at IMG Academy in Bradenton (Fla.) in May. Next, Praslin will attend FC Malaga City Academy in Almunecar, Spain, training at the club's elite football academy beginning Aug. 1. L.A. Wolves FC L.A.
