Carl Erick Schou Larsen Joins Global Forum for Rural Advisory Services (GFRAS)

PARIS - June 26, 2019 - PRLog -- Carrhure would like to congratulate Mr. Carl Erick Schou Larsen for his appointment as GFRAS' Executive Secretary.

In January 2019, GFRAS (http://www.g-fras.org/en/), an international institution that aims to enhance the performance of advisory services by serving farm families and rural producers around the world, retained Carrhure in search of their new Executive Secretary.  After months of conducting intensive executive search, Carl was selected among other viable RAS (Rural Advisory Services).

Carl is a Danish senior agricultural expert with over 20 years of work experience in the field of tertiary agriculture education, research and extension in different capacities. His good understanding of new settings and situations, and ability to give constructive advice based on updated academic knowledge/information gave him an edge among other candidartes. He is a team manager with natural leadership and extensive facilitation, evaluation and extension experience harnessed through his work with multiple interdisciplinary and multicultural teams in Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America. In addition, he is also updated on the latest trends within rural advisory services and worked with and for both bilateral (Danida, USAID) and multilateral development partners (e.g. CGIAR, EU, FAO, and World Bank).
