Krynen has more than 30 years experience in teaching and administration at Bosco Tech. Prior to serving as assistant principal, the 1981 Tech graduate served as dean of technologies and department chair for both the school's science and Architecture, Construction and Engineering (ACE) technology programs. He has overseen several accreditation self-studies and, as a visiting peer reviewer, evaluated and advised other schools in the complex accreditation process. Under his direction, Bosco Tech successfully implemented the school's highly effective standardized test-preparation initiative. He has a bachelor's degree in biology from California Polytechnic University, Pomona, and a master's degree in educational leadership from Loyola Marymount University. "I'm honored by the trust the Bosco Tech board of directors has shown in me," Krynen said. "It will by my great privilege to lead my alma mater in this new role, and I look forward to the opportunity to work closely with the board, faculty, staff, students and their families, and the Alumni Association in achieving our goals."
