Alternative Rock Album Heartbeat by Nicki Kris, wins Global Music Award!

RALEIGH, N.C. - Sept. 2, 2019 - PRLog -- Nicki Kris in conjunction with N.K.M. Records is excited and honored to announce Nicki's Silver Medal Win in the August 2019 Global Music Awards!! The Silver Medal win was in the Album category for her latest release, "Heartbeat". This is Nicki's 2nd Silver Medal in the prestigious music competition.  The title track from the album won for Female Vocalist and Lyrics/Songwriter in 2018.

The 14 track "Heartbeat" album is a compilation of Alternative Pop/Rock anthems, catchy sing-along tracks, along with a few remixed classics some of which have also been recognized in several international songwriting competitions along with receiving over a million plays collectively since their launch.

All of the songs on the album were written and arranged by Nicki Kris and Kevin McNoldy (Dave Matthews, Seven Mary Three, Parachute and more) who also produced the album at his studio just outside Raleigh, NC.

Most recently, Nicki has seen several songs off the album achieve chart success on Play MPE Charts (Can't Let You Go), New Visions Radio Pop Charts (Light It Up), and The Radio Indie Alliance.  Tracks from the album are also making waves on several streaming platforms, including Spotify, YouTube, and Soundcloud.  Along with internet and FM airplay across the world.

Nicki is currently in the studio recording with various local musicians on their upcoming releases as well as working on several collaborations with various songwriters/composers throughout Europe and the US.  She will also be releasing a new recording of her original Christmas song, "The Best Part Of Christmas Is You" in early October 2019.
