Excelerate America Searches for the Best Fall Small Business with New Campaign

DETROIT - Oct. 4, 2019 - PRLog -- Detroit-based startup Excelerate America has kicked off an exciting new campaign aimed at highlighting fall-centric small businesses across the United States.

Titled "America's Fall Bucket List" the initiative invites chambers of commerce, business associations, and customers across the nation to nominate their favorite local businesses that are primarily focused around the autumn season including popular local haunted houses, bakeries with the best spiced treats, costume shops, and more.

Roy Lamphier, founder and CEO of Excelerate America explains, "Fall is such a fun time of year and definitely our team's favorite. We see so many local companies here in Michigan that do really festive things and embrace the season in such unique ways. We wanted to create a way to show that off and learn about what other companies in other cities do too."

America's Fall Bucket List nomination period runs Tuesday, October 1 through Friday, October 25. To nominate a local business, a person simply has to 1) Create a post on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter 2) Include a picture of the business they want to nominate 3) Tag that business and 4) Include #americasfallbucketlist.

Participants can post about their own favorite businesses to visit or encourage businesses to post/submit about themselves. Excelerate America will also be nominating their Michigan-based picks throughout the month.

Excelerate America will then release America's Fall Bucket List, a downloadable and shareable eBook, the week of October 28. The document will include all of the small businesses submitted nationwide.

"It's a unique and easy way to build awareness and camaraderie for your local business community, and a great way to get out and have some fall fun," Lamphier continued. "We really hope people participate and nominate as many businesses as they can. We want America's Fall Bucket List to be the go-to guide people grab for autumn road trips and getaways for years to come."
