Algoworks Organizes 'ALGO CENTRAL - The Diwali Bazar' To Celebrate Diwali 2019

Oct. 25, 2019 - PRLog -- Algoworks celebrated the 'Festival of Lights' with a lot of enthusiasm and grandeur, amidst decorations being put up all around the office. This year's Diwali event, named  'ALGO CENTRAL - The Diwali Bazar' invited a lot of entries from various teams. The event gave an opportunity of making quick money by putting up a kiosk where the teams had the choice of selling a product or service of their choice and make money for themselves.

The number of entries was huge this year, as members belonging to different departments came forward with a lot of innovative ideas and suggestions to put up various food, gaming and other kinds of stalls such as DJ floor, Karaoke, etc. The size of the groups ranged from 8 to 10 members.

The kiosks were decorated in beautiful ways using fairy lights, balloons, ribbons, lamps, cutouts, and colour-tinted LED lights. All bays resembled kiosks of a real-life Diwali bazaar. Among the food items, the highlight of the event included the mouth-watering biryani and succulent kebabs being offered by the 'Lal Qila ka Thumka', a kiosk designed by the marketing team around the famous 'Chandni Chowk' of Old Delhi.  In addition to this, people thronged various other stalls that offered attractions like poker, chaat items, tea, fashion accessories, lucky draw, etc.

'The Dream Team' walked away with the coveted first prize, whose members included Shiv Chandra Mishra, Saumya Dixit, Harsh Choudhary, Gautam Upreti, Saurabh Kumar, Divya Sharma, Garima Mishra, Ragini Awasthi and Saloni Gupta. The second prize was conferred to team 'Algo Hanging point' and the third prize was given to team 'Lal Qila ka Thumka'.
