December 6 - 8, 2019 - TN Local Food Summit in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Dec. 6, 2019 - PRLog -- As a peak year-end event fostering local food in middle Tennessee, the Tennessee Local Food Summit (https://tnlocalfood.com) will be held 6-8 December 2019 at the Harpeth Hall School in Nashville, Tennessee. At the food summit, the Embry family of Kentucky will vend and/or present.

The Embry twins, Irucka and Obiora, with their business, Getting Back to Nature™ (https://www.gettingback2nature.farm/) will showcase their 2019 product line in the Vendor Showcase. In addition they will speak on Saturday afternoon, 7 December about their efforts to create a diverse ecosystem while healing the land on 2 acres on their maternal family farm in Western Kentucky.

Their father, Jim, will be do presentations about George Washington Carver and the Biodynamics Agriculture Movement along with his work on using agriculture to heal women through his business Sustainable Communities Network (http://www.sustainlex.org/).

At the Tennessee Local Food Summit produced by Barefoot Farmer, LLC, it will feature the following:

• A full day of educational workshops covering an array of topical issues;
• Networking and social interaction times;
• Vendor booths and product sales;
• Nashville's best chefs offering delicious, locally grown organic meals;
• Chef demonstrations; and
• The celebration of Nashville's existing local food movement backed by our amazing sponsors.
