Belsito Speaks to Tewksbury Democratic Town Committee

READING, Mass. - Feb. 5, 2020 - PRLog -- The Tewksbury Democratic Town Committee recently hosted Candidate for Representative to the 6th Congressional District, Jamie Zahlaway Belsito.

Belsito was excited to speak to the Tewksbury Democratic Committee and gathered Democrats Saturday, January 25th, at the Town Hall in Tewksbury. The morning provided an opportunity for the community to hear from the current State Representative Tram Nguyen, to learn about candidates running for office in Massachusetts as well as for Belsito to talk about her campaign to be the next Congresswoman in Washington representing the communities of the 6th Congressional District.

"I'm from this district and I'm running because I am committed to representing the hard-working people of the district where I've lived and where I grew up". Belsito touted her over 20 plus years of experience passing legislation at the federal and state level and her continued commitment to the District."In speaking with the group it was very obvious that a large part of going to Congress is having close relationships with the communities and the state representatives to help identify what programs and monies are available at the federal level to help take care of the communities back in the district. For me, my campaign is really about getting back to putting the families and communities of the 6th District first once again,'' said Belsito.
