Unbound Visual Arts is Allston-Brightons visual arts non-profit organization and was incorporated in 2012 and now has over paid 200 members and supporters. A major part of its mission is to present curated educational art exhibitions on important cultural and social topics, such as wellness, non-violence, gender equality, and environmental sustainability. That mission is a unique means of presenting contemporary art exhibitions. All of UVA's exhibitions are created to be beneficial to all audiences. In addition, Unbound Visual Arts has organized two other extended exhibitions (3-6 months) that included artists from the homeless target group. The last one was titled "Address Unknown: Traces of Hope" and represented hope and resiliency in the plight of homelessness. Each of the artists shared an experience with homelessness and through their creativity, aspired to provoke the audience into thinking about the social conditions of their unhoused community. Finally, UVA has also presented three recent educational exhibitions related to women's history month: "Peace in Her Time: Visionary Women Against War and Violence," Battle of the Sexes: The Sexual Harassment Volley of Today," and "Earned" Women in Business and Labor." https://www.UnboundVisualArts.org Contact John Quatrale, Unbound Visual Arts ***@unboundvisualarts.org Photo: https://www.prlog.org/ End
