Previously, Lyscas served as Vice President of Manufacturing Services for five years. He now is responsible for overseeing seven departments including Manufacturing Services, Information Technology, Sales, Marketing, Human Resources, Research Services and Facilities. He also is dedicated to driving advancements in Michigan manufacturing, leading the effort to assist small and medium-sized manufacturers in applying Industry 4.0 digital manufacturing solutions. Lyscas has an extensive history of proven success in the areas of Quality Management, Engineering and Supplier Assessment and Development, with more than 40 years of experience working in the Manufacturing and Quality fields. Additionally, The Center has promoted Charlie Westra, formerly Growth Services Program Manager, to Director of Manufacturing Services, where he will manage the organization's team of 12 client-focused consultants and trainers. Westra also will continue his role as a consultant and instructor, providing expertise in the areas of Supervisor Skills and Leadership Development. "As we look at an ever-evolving marketplace, we too must adjust to meet the needs of our clients," said Coast. "These promotions will enable us to continue to advance our service levels for small and medium-size manufacturers across Michigan."
