DRAPER, Utah - May 11, 2020 - PRLog -- Fusion BPO Services is pleased to announce that its San Salvador, El Salvador center has successfully achieved Report on Compliance from 3rd party auditor against The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) as on 30th April 2020.

The HIPAA compliance is achieved through rigorous staff training, stringent call center privacy policies and security guidelines, and upgrading of technology to ensure improved data encryption.  The security rule under HIPPA applies to client service support, order management and customer support services carried on from this facility.

The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) is a federal law that required the creation of national standards to protect sensitive patient health information from being disclosed without the patient's consent or knowledge. The US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) issued the HIPAA Privacy Rule to implement the requirements of HIPAA. The HIPAA Security Rule protects a subset of information covered by the Privacy Rule.
