Kennisha Griffin speaks with FOX 44 about Once Upon a Child memoir

"At the time that I wrote it, in my community, about five of us had it [miscarriages]," says Griffin. "It just seemed like one by one; this experience just kept happening."

Kennisha mentions the grueling statistics that, at the time her book was published, astounded many. "Fifteen to twenty percent of pregnancies result in miscarriage, and that's with pregnancies known," Griffin said, continuing to add that there may have been many more that have not been recognized.
