New book helps aspiring authors overcome obstacles and write their books

Statistics show that more authors are self-publishing their books now more than ever. In "Put Your Pen to Paper," author and literary coach, Kennisha Griffin, addresses typical challenges and concerns that prevent writers from completing their books.

WACO, Texas - May 19, 2020 - PRLog -- The publishing industry has changed dramatically over the years. Along with the pursuit of literary agents and traditional book publishers, authors can edit their books, assemble their design and production teams and utilize social media marketing opportunities-- such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest ads. According to Statista, in 2018, there were over 1.67 million ISBNs (International Standard Book Numbers) assigned to self-published authors in the United States. That's a substantial increase from 2017 when there were only 1.2 million ISBNs assigned to self-published authors. Literary Coach, Kennisha Griffin, believes this is great news for writers who aspire to write their books and get published, and she's written Put Your Pen to Paper to show writers how to do it.

"As a Literary Coach, I've worked with many authors who shared common concerns about writing their books," says Griffin. "Some authors worried if their books were worth writing, others were concerned about whether anyone would purchase their books. Some authors felt inadequate to write it because they weren't a celebrity," Griffin adds. "I wanted to make sure the authors become more confident and courageously step out of their comfort zones to write their books. It's a coaching tool for anyone."

In Put Your Pen to Paper, Kennisha gives readers an insiders look into what it takes to write your book successfully. Chapters included are How to get started, How to find your writing voice, How to sharpen your writing skills, and How to get through writer's block. If you are interested in writing a book and need help learning how to do it, this book is for you.
