Tulsa Air and Space Museum Receives the Economic Injury Disaster Loan Emergency Advance

TULSA, Okla. - May 17, 2020 - PRLog -- The Tulsa Air and Space Museum & Planetarium was selected to receive an E.I.D.L. advance from the Small Business Administration in the amount of $10,000.00 to provide economic relief to businesses that are currently experiencing temporary difficulties.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, small business owners in all U.S. states, Washington D.C., and territories were able to apply for an Economic Injury Disaster Loan advance of up to $10,000.00.  This advance is designed to provide economic relief to small businesses.  Funding for the E.I.D.L. advance was made possible by the CARES Stimulus Package.

TASM's annual gala, The Aviator Ball, was originally scheduled for May 2, 2020, but has been rescheduled for September 26, 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.  The E.I.D.L. advance provides critical funding in the absence of the annual Aviator Ball fundraiser.  Tulsa Air and Space Museum & Planetarium's Executive Director, Tonya Blansett, expressed gratefulness for the funding, "this funding is crucial in a time when businesses are beginning to open again, and we are incredibly appreciative to the Small Business Administration for their support."
