Oldest Flying DC-3 Airplane Visits Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. - Oct. 28, 2022 - PRLog -- The Tulsa Air and Space Museum is hosting a fun-filled day "Halloween Extravaganza" that will include cockpit tours and rides for sale in the Flagship Detroit, the oldest flying DC-3 airplane in the world.  Rides cost $100 per person.  The museum will be open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
WWII Veteran, Bill Parker, will be at the museum from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.  Bill was the first man on Omaha Beach on D-Day as a wire cutter.
A CASI (Chili Appreciation Society International) sanctioned Chili Cook-off will also be underway with chili tasting kits for sale, and sampling beginning at noon.
Kids can come in costume and "Trunk or Treat" from new Ford vehicles from Riverside Ford, as well as vintage military jeeps and vintage cars….not to mention treats being given from the Vietnam era Huey helicopter!
The movie "Hocus Pocus" will be playing in the Planetarium theatre at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. with ticket prices of $5 per person.  The "Sanderson Sisters" will be entertaining families
