ITeam USA welcomes the first middle school, Bonneville Academy Stansbury Utah

STANSBURY PARK, Utah - June 24, 2020 - PRLog -- ITeam USA welcomes a great addition, Bonneville Academy, the first Middle School to join ITeam USA. Bonneville Academy is a public charter school located in Stansbury Park, Utah, that educates up to 702 students from kindergarten to 8th grade. As a STEM school, Bonneville Academy's curriculum focuses on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math; allowing students to not only learn about these areas of focus but also have real world experiences.
Bonneville Academy has an active Esports class.  Brad Evans, instructor stated that students who excelled in this program found themselves excelling in other school programs. The program fosters leadership, teamwork, and discipline.  Bonneville Academy has two classrooms that act as arenas for competitions that allow for robust scrims among the players.
The field of Esports can offer students the academic and technical skills necessary to succeed in STEM and non-STEM related learning opportunities and careers. Esports can be a pathway to careers in IT and CS.
