ACCRA, Ghana - June 16, 2020 - PRLog -- he UPSA African International & Comparative Law Journal (UAICLJ) is established as a platform for the publication of rigorous and cutting-edge legal scholarship that evaluates current and emerging issues in the law. It is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the promotion of academic work and the dissemination of knowledge in the field of law and comparative legal studies at the highest level of research and doctrinal analyses. As a periodical, the journal is focused on maintaining the highest editorial standards and will accept only publications that make important contributions to scholarship and legal developments both internationally and within Ghana.

The editorial board of the journal hereby calls for papers from authors on important topics in the field of law for publication in its maiden edition. Articles to be accepted should resolve important issues affecting the law and must make significant or substantial contributions to legal scholarship in general. Articles submitted must be the product of original research or analyses and may either be descriptive in character or focus on the reform of the law.

The publication of the first issue will be in March 2021.

Paper Submission Guidelines:

1. Papers for publication must be the result of original research and should not have been previously published elsewhere.
2. The length of the paper should be between 8,000 and 10,000 words double-spaced, typed on one side of A4 or letter-sized paper (i.e. approximately 30-40 pages), including references.
3. Authors should submit their papers in Microsoft Word format, using Times New Roman, 12 pt font.
4. References must be footnotes, and citations and references must comply with OSCOLA; the Oxford University Standard for the Citation of Legal Authorities.
5. The first page of the paper (the title page) should have the title of the paper, an abstract of the paper, which should not exceed 300 words and a list of 4-5 keywords. The list of keywords should follow immediately after the abstract. The name of the author and his or her affiliation should not appear on the title page. Authors should provide a separate page bearing the title of the paper, their name and affiliation, and contact information.
