QView Medical Signs European Distribution Agreement to sell AI/QVCAD for Breast Cancer Detection

LOS ALTOS, Calif. - June 16, 2020 - PRLog -- QView Medical and Traf Intercontinental announce a distribution agreement under which Traf International will sell QView Medical's QVCAD System to breast imaging clinics in Europe.  QVCAD is the AI solution to assist the radiologist in detecting breast cancer in 3D Automated Breast Ultrasound images

In this post-CoVid-19 environment, QView Medical searched for a more direct sales focus in Europe.  Traf was chosen for its extensive experience and success in the European breast imaging market.

The QVCAD system gained European approval (CE) for use with 3D breast ultrasound systems (ABUS) in 2017. Recent peered-reviewed publications combined with originally published clinical data support both reading time improvements and cancer detection sensitivity over ABUS reading alone.  As breast imaging clinics and centers reopen to the new environment, it is our belief to provide whatever tools that will improve radiologists' performance in breast screening.
