Covid 19 as a pandemic has affected organizations and businesses world -wide. Education has been one of the businesses which have been impacted as well.

NOIDA, India - July 2, 2020 - PRLog -- It was sometime in the third week of March when the state governments across India declared the shutting down of schools and colleges. It is almost close to three months the schools and colleges have been shut down now. Many educational activities like board examinations, nursery school admissions, entrance tests of various universities and competitive examinations, among others, were all held during this period. The entire collapse in education has hit about 285 million learners in India anticipating much far economic and social impact. Out of the many challenges faced for the Online methods of teaching were the novelty in the use of technologies and platforms for teaching interfaces.

Needless to say the old chalk and talk technique of teaching is no longer valid when there are no physical classes to attend. The technology as a wave in education has hit the this sector with a disruption of the olden pedagogies of teaching. Digital access to multiple sources of education like web media and other educational sites has increased the horizon of education not just limited to classrooms but the accessibility of knowledge. Students evolved with learning by "self engagement" through various educational academies like Udemy, Coursera which had immense technical and certified content. Secondary research through readings, articles, and research papers was the generative learning's from this period. The much , needed "me time" where the student was involved with himself for exploring, learning, and creating was plausible. This time were one of the most regenerative times where students worked on assignments projects and writing of research papers which otherwise was not possible due to lack of time. Students were spared of traveling time for learning and could occupy for further advanced learning's.

Though social distancing and challenges of lack of social interfaces in education which a brick and mortar class can offer were negated in virtual classrooms however it was compensated with far more indulging and creative methodologies of learning like the blended form of learning. Due to the availability of timeand resourcesmost importantly convenience of interface many educational institutes benefited by webinars conducted by industry experts for students.Universities and colleges have shifted to blended learning which requires teachers to be more technology savvy and competent to be able to conduct classes.

Every initiative has a positive and negative however being able to adapt best to the current circumstances and make the best of the situation would be the winners.
