Cascade Asset Management accelerates growth with release of mobile device disposition solution for Enterprises

MADISON, Wis. - July 6, 2020 - PRLog -- To help enterprise clients reduce risk and enhance value recovery, Cascade is offering a new solution suite to manage the retirement of smartphones and tablets. Enterprise Mobile Disposition (EMD) will offer organizations services around logistics and device unlocking to maximize recovery and rebate values. The service will also provide a contract-backed erasure guarantee, something not offered by wireless carriers.

"While Cascade has provided smartphone and tablet refurbishing and recycling for years, this new program provides a more convenient and financially attractive bundle of services for the growing needs of mobile device managers," says Neil Peters-Michaud, CEO of Cascade. "We anticipate organizations will be analyzing their disposition programs for extra rebate revenue. Cascade's strategy to better protect assets during transit and unlock more units for resale, coupled with a transparent revenue sharing program, should incentivize all stakeholders to maximize value."

"Following the closure of Arrow's Asset Disposition business in late 2019, the market opened for another leading provider. As an e-Steward Certified Recycler with 21 years of experience, Cascade represents the kind of stable, sustainable, secure solution enterprises require," says Ryan Laber, VP of Business Development for Cascade. As a former Arrow executive, he created and grew Arrow's Center of Excellence for mobile devices that processed several million units annually.  "Whether you have a few dozen Samsung Galaxies, or several thousand Apple iPhones, Cascade is ready."

Cascade's EMD solution seeks to address three key concerns around enterprise mobile device disposition: First, carrier-based trade-in programs leave data destruction and environmental liabilities on the enterprise. Cascade addresses this gap through a legally-binding contract that is backed by insurance, certifications, auditable reporting and a twenty plus year track record.

Second, poor packaging when handling and shipping multiple devices often leads to damage and is the primary reason devices sell for less. Smartphone and tablet prices are highly dependent on cosmetic condition and repair can be expensive. Cascade offers convenient, sturdy boxes for single and multi-unit shipments to preserve every ounce of value.

Finally, device security locks are the most frequent reason for phone reusability fall-out when enterprises retire their devices. Cascade improves the yield of units by working proactively and reactively to remove security lock-outs.
