New Free Virtual CME Event - Echocardiography

RONKONKOMA, N.Y. - July 29, 2020 - PRLog -- Ultrasound Solutions Corp. (USC) is happy to present Dr. RONALD WHARTON for another edition of Wharton's Wednesdays.  Dr. Wharton will conduct a discussion on cardiomyopathies and systemic diseases affecting the structure and function of the heart on   Wednesday, August 12, 2020, 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM (EDT).  This free virtual event has been approved for 1 SDMS CME credit.

Are you well acquainted with different types of cardiomyopathies and their appearance using 2-D,   M-mode, and Doppler echocardiographic imaging?   This one hour event will cover the sonographic appearance of non-ischemic causes of abnormal cardiac morphology/physiology and help familiarize attendees with the impact of these conditions on the structure and/or function of the heart. Dr. Ronald Wharton is a Clinical Cardiologist, Echocardiographer, and nationally recognized expert. He is currently a member of the faculty at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, NY. Prior to working at North Shore University Hospital, he was a member of the Non-Invasive Cardiology Divisions of Maimonides Medical Center (Brooklyn, NY) and Montefiore Medical Center (Bronx, NY).
