Back-to-school Drive-Thru Event for children in need

SANTA ROSA, Calif. - Aug. 10, 2020 - PRLog -- known factors related to school this year. It is really important to help children start this school year on the right foot. For over 15 years, Redwood Gospel Mission's City Kids Festival not only provides backpacks and school supplies but also shares the Gospel Message to help them know that there is a God who loves them. We simply could not skip this event and at the same time safety is our highest priority.

We are partnering with Bayside Church and their volunteers to create an engaging touch-free event. Additionally, churches have partnered with us and generously provided school supplies for filling the backpacks. There will be a short Gospel Message that can be listened to from their car radio. Bayside Church has an elaborate Highway 101 display complete with inflatable cones, water cannons, bubbles, classic cars and even a doughnut shop. Backpacks will be delivered to the car, where parents will take the backpacks. We have 300 children registered to receive backpacks. Registration is now full.
