By: Bridget O'Brien PR Sheahan wrote his new single "Carry Me On" to pay homage and honor all First Responders & Essential Workers who lay it on the line for us on a daily basis so we all can be comfortable staying safe at home. CARRY ME ON was written while Michael was working a very dangerous undercover assignment. Michael was performing surveillance on some serious players in the crime world. Michael was taking surveillance photos utilizing a powerful zoom lens. One day he was caught off guard when the main subject of the investigation pulled up in his car and parked directly behind him not exiting his car. Sheahan ducked down to not be detected. Shortly after two other subject cars pulled up and double park next to him blocking him in. He very nervously slipped through the front seats into the back passenger seat lying down on the floor with my weapon drawn. The feeling you could be killed any second is one you don't forget easily. The main subject and the other targets exited their vehicles and surrounded Michael's car in conversation between each other not realizing that he was in the car…He kept repeating in his mind "Carry Me ON"…"Carry Me ON"…get me home tonight. He thanked God when he eventually got out of there. A few days after started laying down the lyrics and music for "Carry Me ON". 2020 has been a very tough year for everyone especially first responders. They are getting injured or killed in the line of duty, getting infected with COVID-19, and it's so mentally taxing for Medical Workers, Law Enforcement, Fire Department Personnel and Military members that suicide is on the rise. Sheahan wanted to do something to give all our hero's a boost and lift their spirits. He created the music video "CARRY ME ON" to pay them homage. God Bless All Our First Responders, Essential Workers and their families." Please Join Michael Sheahan's Facebook Live Launch of "Carry Me On", https://www.facebook.com/ End
