TAMPA, Fla. - Oct. 8, 2020 - PRLog -- Roslyn Franken's mother survived the Holocaust concentration camps in Nazi Europe. She faced death in the gas chambers three times and survived. Her father survived the Nagasaki atomic bomb as a prisoner of war in Japan. In Meant to Be, Roslyn tells the story of how her parents survived unimaginable cruelty in the most extraordinary of circumstances as two young prisoners of war on opposite sides of the world and then met to find an everlasting love, against all odds, that was 'Meant to Be'. It is a story of unlikely survival, love and triumph over tragedy that is known for leaving people filled with wonder and inspired with hope at a time when people need all the positive hope and inspiration they can get with all that is going on in the world today.

Her parents' story was the subject of a Gemini award-nominated CBC television documentary entitled Tea at the Embassy. When Roslyn's father passed away in 2016, he was recognized as the last Canadian P.O.W. Nagasaki atomic bomb survivor.
