ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Roslyn Franken is the Canadian-born author and presenter of Meant to Be: A True Story of Might, Miracles and Triumph of the Human Spirit, an award-winning book she wrote to tell the world her parents' amazing story of survival, love, and triumph over tragedy as Holocaust and atomic bomb survivors and the positive life lessons she learned from them in her battle with cancer at the young age of 29.

She speaks for ​diverse audiences of all ages, cultures and backgrounds across North America and recently made her European debut with a school presentation to over 300 students in the Netherlands.

Roslyn's parents' story was the subject of an award-nominated CBC television documentary, and a feature length movie adaptation of her book is currently in development. She has been featured on CTV News, NBC Daytime, ABC Action News and Spectrum Bay News 9 television and in the Canadian Jewish News, Jewish Press of Tampa, Tampa Bay Times, Montreal Gazette, and many more media outlets.
