Is Michael Griffin This Generations Houdini Or Better?

On witnessing Griffin's escape from the Hangman's Noose:

Houdini's Accolades may seem minimal in comparison with Copperfield's, but as with many escape artists such as Griffin, Penn & Teller, this does not suggest that their feats are any less extraordinary.  "If the audience asks, 'how the hell did he do that?' then the experiment was successful. I've exploited the efficiencies of your mind," Teller explained to wired magazine.

Escape artists are able to conduct their performances in full view using some of these techniques. While an Escapologist may add a unique stamp to his act, Houdini set the standard with the escape or die act, which remains the gold standard. Understanding the risk factor though is equally important for escape artists.

Accountability and Responsibility are necessary for the field. Also: Ability, Agility, and Adaptability are the cornerstones for ensuring longevity in the field. Humor, too, is necessary to entertain an audience.

Perhaps one day, Leading escape artists such as Griffin and Superior performers in the field may receive the highest recognition in both entertainment and science for providing not only awe and magic to thousands of people but also incredible insights into the human mind.
