Sharon Alexander, CEO of The Unicorn Children's Foundation, looks to promote community collaboration when facing such a complex issue. "We are so excited to showcase innovative employment solutions for individuals with special needs and their families. The Summit will focus on 'out of the box' ideas, while educating entrepreneurs and families about the resources available. The pandemic has posed additional barriers for a group of individuals who already face struggles with obtaining and maintaining traditional employment. This conference will emphasize the value of re-thinking employment with a focus on providing creative solutions rather than exacerbating poor outcomes." The summit agenda starts with sessions and a reception on Thursday, including a panel of successful Entrepreneurs. On Friday, there will be an all-day schedule featuring speakers with vast experience in social enterprises, panel discussions, and educational sessions to assist both start-up and seasoned businesses. Saturday will offer morning sessions and opportunities for collaboration and roundtables. Registration is $35 for all 3 days of interactive sessions. CEU's are available for CRCC, FL APD, and CESPs.
