What: A 5-hour Virtual and In-Person Disaster Relief Concert and Fundraiser launching "Operacion Asentamientos Humanos." The in-person audience will be socially distanced along with performers of the Christmas MASK-erade Disaster Relief Fundraiser, with emphasis on "MASK." When: Friday, December 18th, 7 p.m. until 12 a.m. Where: BB Kings Blues Club, 1104 Decatur Street, New Orleans, Louisiana Why: During the 2020 hurricane season, two "level 4" hurricanes, "Eta & Iota," struck the Caribbean and Central America causing extensive loss of life, destruction of livestock, homes and the devastation of economies. The storms exacerbated the struggle of the survivors as the result of the global Covid-19 pandemic that began March 2020. The partnership has resulted in an on-going disaster preparedness and relief campaign. It has kicked off with OAH Christmas Maskerade Disaster Relief Concert & Fundraiser.
