First Lean video for on-line Lean Learning Series now available

OTTAWA, Ontario - Jan. 11, 2021 - PRLog -- The "What is Lean? Short video defining Lean" is now available on YouTube. It is the first in the Alpen Path Solutions Lean Learning Series.

World-renowned Lean coach and author France Bergeron knew she had to change how she delivered her popular experiential Lean training. But could not see herself only talking to the camera or using a platform such as Zoom to create excitement about Lean. "This is where the idea of an on-line Lean Learning Series was born" explains Bergeron. "Short videos with humour, lots of images and animation to better meet the needs of customers who kept on asking us, 'when is your Lean training going on-line?' " she adds.

Bergeron hopes to also launch a low-cost learning portal so that customers can get certificates for "attending" on-line classes. "We understand that people want recognition for their learning efforts, and it's only logical to offer certificates of attendance to help people grow as Lean thinkers", commented Bergeron. She projects creating assignments that could also involve management to create alignment and integrate Lean thinking in everyday work. In the end, developing people as great problem solvers, to flow more value to customers, is the main focus in Lean organizations.
