Interestingly, Turkish Airlines cancellation policy is more flexible for cancer patients. The management has introduced a policy to give a 50% discount to cancer patients. This unique facility is not applicable only to cancer patients. All the passengers who are flying with Turkey for medical treatment are eligible to get a 50% discount on their tickets. A passenger who is sick but without any travel restriction or contagious disease can fly onboard only after submitting a medical report at least ten days before the departure. However, no medical report is required for Turkish Airlines passengers with a disability who can attend to their personal needs inside the plane.
How to cancel a reservation at Turkish Airlines?Open the homepage of Turkish Airlines
Here you will see a message as Hello – where do you want to explore?
Go to the bottom section of this message and find the Check-In/Manage Booking icon
Click on it and you will be asked to fill two blank boxes
Here you need to enter the Ticket Number or Reservation Code [PNR] along with your [passenger] Surname
Then, click on the red-color arrow icon
A new page will open
On this page, you will get a lot of options
Choose the Cancel Reservation option and click on it
Hence, you will be able to cancel your reservation and proceed for refund
