Chicago Artist's Photos Showcased at the Bridgeport Art Center

CHICAGO - April 10, 2021 - PRLog -- Award-winning visual artist Karen I. Hirsch has eleven images from her series of botanic montage photographs displayed at the Bridgeport Art Center at 1200 W. 35th Street in Chicago in the third floor gallery. Entrance is  on Racine. These photos are part of the BAC Artists' Spring Exhibit that runs from April 12 - May 29, 2021. Opening reception (in person) is Friday, April 16, 2021 from 6:00-9:00 PM. Twenty artists are participating in this show. The opening coincides with Open Studio night where the public can visit artists' studios in the building. Free parking is available on the North side of the building. Face masks and social distancing is part of the protocol inside the Art Center.

About Karen I. Hirsch
Karen I. Hirsch is an international award-winning visual artist based in Chicago. Her work has been published internationally in magazines, newspapers and books including Communication Arts and Graphis photo annuals. She has received art grants from the City of Chicago and the Illinois Arts Council. Hirsch's prints have been showcased in galleries  and art centers in New York, Palm Beach, Chicago and Los Angeles. Her artwork is found in corporate and private collections. Her mural of the Chicago Lighthouse is featured in the entrance of the Chicago Maritime Museum, located on the lower floor of the Bridgeport Art Center.
