Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Signs Contract with Pure Air Control Services for IAQ and HVAC Services

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa. - April 12, 2021 - PRLog -- Pure Air Control Services today announced it has signed a contract with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to provide heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) services to its various state-affiliated entities.

The COSTARS-8 contract includes maintenance, repair and operation equipment & supplies (MRO). As such, all indoor air quality (IAQ), laboratory, HVAC and building remediation services provided by Pure Air Control Services to Pennsylvania are governed by this contract.

COSTARS is Pennsylvania's cooperative purchasing program and serves as a conduit through which registered and eligible local public procurement units (LPPUs) and state-affiliated entities are able to leverage contracts established by Pennsylvania's Department of General Services (DGS) to cost-effectively and efficiently identify suppliers with whom to do business. Pure Air Control Services' contract is a cooperative purchasing contract competitively bid and won through the DGS. Any agency within Pennsylvania immediately may use Pure Air Control Services for projects under this "pre-bid," fully vetted contract.

Karl Stefan, Certified Indoor Environmental Consultant (CIEC), is the Northeast regional manager for Pure Air Control Services and is based in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. He helped secure the contract.
