Burton brings her images to life using Sanaa, an app created by Gregg Young. Sanaa, Swahili for 'Art' or more specifically a "work of beauty" uses augmented reality technology to bring art to life and create an immersive user experience. Missy Burton is the Co-Founder of Msanii HOUS Fine Art and her work is in the permanent collection of the African American Museum of Dallas and multiple private collections. Burton currently lives and works in Dallas, TX, and is passionate about mentoring emerging artists. "Dynasty: The Peculiar Search for Totality" is currently on view at the African American Museum of Dallas through June 12th.
