FlatToast to Feature 2021 Dassault Falcon 6X During its 4th of July Virtual Auto Show

NEW CANAAN, Conn. - May 24, 2021 - PRLog -- "Over the last 12 months our members have been asking us when we would be adding Planes to our system.  Without a revenue structure in place to justify this type of product, we were unable to give them a timeframe.   It wasn't until our Founder and Executive Team got the opportunity to see the 2021 Dassault Falcon 6X up close did we make the decision to launch FlatToast Grouping System.

FlatToast Grouping System allows our members to work together to purchase a plane as a group. We looked at multi–Plane Sharing Systems but found too many flaws in the revenue structure. So, we decided to build our own.  And in 2020 FlatToast placed 6 orders on behalf of FlatToast members totaling $260 million.

Our first objective was to make sure FlatToast Groups could afford to purchase a plane like the 2021 Dassault Falcon 6X, but more important maintain it over a 3-year period. Once our grouping system met these two requirements, we started to focus on the number of members that were interested in owning their own plane or sharing ownership before zeroing in on price!

Without working the maintenance cost into the Pricing Equation, it became somewhat of a Challenge. We wanted to make sure a FlatToast Group knew about all the secondary cost before buying a plane.  Because the last thing we wanted to do is sell a FlatToast Group a plane that they couldn't afford to use. It's like being House Poor!   So, we added a 3-year Prepaid Maintenance Option to the overall pricing equation in order to make everything work.   For a plane like the 2021 Dassault Falcon 6X, maintenance costs over a 12-month period could range from $1.1 million to $1.5 million: Basic Maintenance, Crew, Hanger Fee, Fuel, Landing Fee, etc.…   Hanger Fee at LAX alone can cost a person $10,000 or more a month, now throw in the cost for a good Crew and you are looking at an additional $250k to $300k.

After establishing the overall cost of buying and maintaining the ten midsize planes we planned to place in front of our members, we needed to see how many members were interested in owning their own plane or open to sharing ownership. The moment we reached 2.1 million, we stopped counting and started over!   After 5 re-counts the 100,000 base number held, and that's when we knew we had something special!  The total number didn't matter the base number is where the real sales were!  Once our base number was in place, we build a 1% to 10% conversion rate around 100,000 and adjusted our A.I. System to delete everything beyond this number. Our goal is to use a 1% of 1% conversion rate first and allow a company production line to determine how much we increase this number.  A 1% of 1% conversion rate would allow FlatToast to purchase 100 planes a year.  For those of you that don't like math here is what 1% of 1% looks like.

Now 1% of 100k is 1,000 and 1% of 1,000 is 100 and this is the number of Groups or Buyers we can place in front of Airbus, Cessna, Bombardier, Embraer, Dassault, Gulfstream, Boeing, Honda Aircraft, Piaggio Aero and Pilatus each year.  Our new Grouping System allows us to expand the demographic and placing new buyers in front of the planes these companies make.

Right now, you have Airbus, Cessna, Bombardier, Embraer, Dassault, Gulfstream, Boeing and Honda Aircraft all fighting over the same (Limited) Demographic.   But how many planes can the 1% buy?   Today FlatToast has 100,000 potential buyers, next year this number could be as high as 200,000 or 300,000 if FlatToast Membership Base continues to grow.   If it does, we will be able to keep a company production line moving," said John Kim, Vice President of Grouping, FlatToast Social Lifestyle Platform.
