Putting the Brakes on MS- Amazing Spaces Races into the Top 40 Teams in the Bike MS: Texas MS 150

SPRING, Texas - May 26, 2021 - PRLog -- The Bike MS: Texas MS 150 is a fundraising event coordinated by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. This buzz-worthy event is a part of a nation-wide effort to stop multiple sclerosis (MS) in its tracks. While unusually stormy weather prevented an in-person ride this year, the Amazing Spaces® Storage Centers 2021 Texas MS 150 team continued with unrelenting force in the race toward a world free of MS.

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society (National MS Society) is the largest non-governmental agency in the world funding MS research. According to the National MS Society, multiple sclerosis affects more than 2.3 million people worldwide. Furthermore, MS is the most common neurological disease leading to disability in young adults.

Amazing Spaces MS 150 team participants, employees, clients, and service partners joined together to support the Amazing Spaces team's fundraising efforts. Individuals who donated $5 or more at an Amazing Spaces property received a $5 credit in moving supplies and boxes. Donations were also collected at Amazing Spaces networking events and through social media calls for support.

"It is an honor to participate in the MS 150 and support the efforts of the National MS Society each year. Every passing mile gets us that much closer to a world free of MS," says Scott Tautenhahn, President of Amazing Spaces.  "We're ready to put the brakes on this disease."

In total, the Amazing Spaces team raised over $33,500 for this important cause. This exceptional fundraising effort placed the Amazing Spaces team in the top 40 out of 274 teams who participated in the 2021 Bike MS: Texas MS 150.
