("NUE.life" or "Company") announced that it has closed its seed round with the participation of some the world's top health-tech investors and operators, many of whom have recently made Miami their home base, where the Company is based.  NUE.life is addressing the mental wellness crisis by combining psychedelic and music therapies with traditional approaches.  The Company has raised over $3 million from investors that include Jack Abraham (Atomic Ventures), Shervin Pishevar (formerly of Sherpa Ventures, UBER), Jon Oringer (Shutterstock, Pareto Holdings), Martin Varsavsky (Prelude Fertility, Overture), James Bailey (a capstone supporter of the Multidisciplinary Assoc. for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS)), the Khubani family (OnTel Products) and Christina Getty.

NUE.life's co-founders are Juan Pablo Cappello and Demian Bellumio—two well-known Miami tech entrepreneurs — as well as Katie Kiernan (Twyla), Kazi (Zayn) Hassan, M.D. and investor Christina Getty. Nue Life's diverse founding team consists entirely of people of color and women, making the company unique in the alternative medicine space.
