Timid produces theme and moderates Black Lives Matter Tokyo discussion series RealTalk

TOKYO, Japan - July 8, 2021 - PRLog -- Timid joins with Black Lives Matter Tokyo to moderate the third episode of their discussion series RealTalk. discussing "Being mixed Black and Japanese in Japan". Episode three changes the format from the previous live webinar format to a more intimate pre-recorded version with fewer guests that allows for more time for each person's story. Timid was tapped to produce the theme music for the new format of the series.

Episode 3 dives into what it's like to grow up and navigate life in Japan as a biracial Black and Japanese person. Three women — Saki, Lei, and KTea — speak on their personal experiences growing up and living in Japan, time abroad in the US, and their observations about Japan's views on mixed identities and the infrastructure which contributes to these views. All from their perspectives and through their own experiences.
