Queens Emcee Pizon Drops Long-Awaited Album Mic Scholar

QUEENS, N.Y. - Oct. 29, 2024 - PRLog -- Mic Scholar (a fitting play on Pizon's real name and professional background) is a groundbreaking take on political rap and Hip Hop songwriting, offering listeners a rare glimpse into the mind of an emcee, attorney and politician. Drawing from his experiences, the album tackles themes of real life, justice and societal change with an authenticity that only Pizon can deliver.

The album features a host of notable collaborations, each track bringing its own unique flavor to the project. "Bring Rawkus Back," featuring the legendary Kool G Rap, recounts the pivotal moment when his former label passed on Kanye West, reshaping the music industry. As the lead single for the project, it has received notable airplay and holds a position as one of the Top 100 Streaming Hip-Hop songs on Hypeddit. "Racing Thoughts," with Styles P and Alex Dew, is an anthem for overthinkers everywhere, while "Read Between the Lines," featuring JoJo Pellegrino, underscores the importance of believing only half of what you hear.
