GREENVILLE, S.C. - July 8, 2021 - PRLog -- Melissa Whiteford St. Clair announced today that Paper Chaser Biz LLC has donated to The Harriet Tubman Monument from proceeds of the initial sales of her first book, Home Work A Collection of Poems Sparked by One White Woman's Journey on the Matter of Race.

Home Work A Collection of Poems Sparked by One White Woman's Journey on the Matter of Race will bring readers into the heart of the author's expedition into the study of racism and social justice electrified by Harriet Tubman's heroic flight to freedom.

Harriet Tubman was born Araminta "Minty" Ross in Dorchester County and escaped slavery on Maryland's Eastern Shore in 1849.

"Upon releasing Home Work A Collection of Poems Sparked by One White Woman's Journey on the Matter of Race, I committed to donating a portion of the proceeds of book sales to The Harriet Tubman Monument," stated St. Clair. She continued, "Living in Beaufort where Harriet Tubman spent time and walking the same streets as she has left a permanent mark." She concluded, "Being able to make this first financial contribution is a proud moment for me."

A portion of the proceeds from book sales will continue to be donated to The Harriet Tubman Monument until monies are raised for installation next to Tabernacle Baptist Church, Craven Street, Beaufort, SC.

The book is available for purchase on Amazon Kindle and paperback. Full details of the book and information on personalized orders can be found at www.paperchaserbiz.com/homework.
