"I am happy that this idea, which came from the community, will now become a reality," states Hamilton County Commission Vice President, Alicia Reece. "The Black Music Walk of Fame will not only celebrate the rich history that African Americans have contributed to music, but it will also attract visitors and tourists from all over the world to come and visit Hamilton County." The Black Music Walk of Fame will be located on Lot 28 across from the Paul Brown Stadium, which hosts the Cincinnati Music Festival and the NFL's Cincinnati Bengals. The Black Music Walk of Fame will be a connector to the Andrew J Brady ICON Music Center, creating the first-ever music corridor on the Banks in Cincinnati, Ohio. The project is scheduled to be completed in the summer of 2022.
