Capitol Homes Introduces Two New Models to the Builder's Repertoire

The homes, offering 3,500–3,700 total square feet, feature a large master suite with walk-in closets and ensuite baths plus two smaller bedrooms, 3-car garage, lanai, great room and formal dining room.

Like Capitol's wide range of existing home options, the Dogwood and Maple models allow for plenty of customization selections to give buyers ample control over the look and feel of the home.

"Based on the feedback provided by homebuyers, we aimed to create home models that offer more space, family-friendly layouts and plenty of upgrade options," says Kate Knapp, Vice President of Capitol Homes. The versatility of these models is expected to be a huge draw for families who love to entertain guests as well as those who work from home. In both models, the dining room features a 90° L-shaped slider that opens to the lanai, the most popular feature by far. "We're ordering the sliders prior to even beginning the permitting process because of the required production lead time and extra design work necessary to ensure the proper support," confides Knapp. "But the outcome is well worth the additional coordination."
