Putterfingers.com, a UK mini golf supplier, has formed a pro mini golf team. They plan to appear at multiple competitions in 2021/22 including the Sussex Wasps Open in Peterborough in August 2021 and the World Crazy Golf Championships at Hastings in September. The aim is to establish a presence on the mini golf tournament circuit and have fun doing it.

This is a significant move for Putterfingers.com because after 15 years supplying mini golf equipment and hiring out crazy golf courses, it was decided that they should be out there on the mini golf scene competing and meeting other like-minded mini golf fanatics. It will provide opportunities not only to personally meet other mini golf enthusiasts, but also to promote their presence as a supplier of equipment and course hires.

The team consists of Putterfingers.com staff members Alf Standen, Jon Clarke, Stuart Hunter, Richard Standen, David Hill and Sam Webster. They are already booked into the Sussex Wasps Open in August and are having team practice sessions – even though the aim is not to win but to get better at playing mini golf, have a good time and meet other mini golf addicts.

"We won't stand a chance against the top teams but if we practice enough we might end up in the top five, which would be fantastic. Whether we're any good or not, we're all looking forward to getting out there on the mini golf scene and making new friends."
