Virginia Solar Live Stream will Spotlight Solar Development, Give Audience Access to Pros

RICHMOND, Va. - Sept. 21, 2021 - PRLog -- The Virginia Solar Summit (VSS), the region's largest, smartest, most substantive solar audience, announced today the launch of a limited webcast and podcast series engaging everything solar energy development in Greater Virginia, and giving the public a chance to engage the planet's top solar professionals. Something special is happening in Virginia's energy space and the entire region is now poised for an unprecedented period of simultaneous economic development, community development and environmental restoration, led by solar energy. This new VSS live stream is launching to more regularly provide the kind of constructive conservation, detailed substance and project-level intelligence its audience has come to expect at its live events, and needed to drive this period of solar power development in the region to its maximum potential.

Each episode in this limited series will feature leading experts to discuss different elements of solar energy development in detail. Hosted by VSS Executive Producer, Dan French, the show's format will alternate between interviews, short presentations, roundtable discussions and direct audience engagement.

Vince Maiden is the Brownfields Program Coordinator at the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), leading the Commonwealth's catalytic real estate redevelopment and revitalization efforts, and Chelsea Barnes is the Legislative Director at Appalachian Voices, one of the region's champions of environmental justice since 1997 and now hard at work encouraging the region towards its highest and best energy transition.
