ALEXANDRIA, Va. - Sept. 24, 2021 - PRLog -- The National Coalition of Black Meeting Professionals (NCBMP) will present its 8th Annual "State of Black Tourism" event on September 29, 2021, at 12:45 p.m. (EST). Known as one of the preeminent organizations in the hospitality industry, NCBMP's annual "State of Black Tourism" will be a virtual convening that will feature the leading hospitality executives in the industry, who will present the newest trends for Black and Brown travelers in the U.S. and around the world. Additionally, the virtual convening will discuss current practices that affect Black hospitality professionals as well as the overall impact on the industry post Covid19 and George Floyd.

"Over the past 18 months or so, tourism has been nonexistent. I have colleagues that work in the industry that have suffered a great deal as a result of the pandemic," states Marlinda Henry, Chairwoman of NCBMP. "Nevertheless, the state of Black Tourism continues to be a viable topic given the tremendous financial value of Black and Brown tourists as well as of those of us who work in the industry."

NCBMP's 8th Annual "State of Black Tourism" virtual convening will feature the following speakers:
