A testament to the relevance of our work is supported by our 19-member BPM Advisory Board, 35 speakers who will be presenting at more than 60 virtual events throughout the entire month," says Jerome Hutchinson, Jr., co-founder, Black Professionals Month and chief servant officer and founder of ICABA World Network, the world's leading online community enhancing success for Black professionals and entrepreneurs. BPM will present approximately 60 virtual sessions led by expert thought-leaders from around the world, including the U.S., South Africa and Canada. "As of today, more than 1,000 individuals on LinkedIn have expressed their support of Black Professionals Month, and over 300 have already registered to attend the official kick-off event for this inaugural initiative," Below are just some of the highlights: PNC Bank presents the Opening Keynote Address Dr. Dennis Kimbro, America's foremost thought leader on Black success and wealth and author of five books including, Think and Grow Rich, a Black Choice and The Wealth Choice. Dr. Kimbro, BPM's honorary chair, will deliver the keynote address during the BPM kick-off event on Friday, Oct. 1 from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. EST. The theme – "BPM is more than a month. It's a movement." The Meet the Global 100 Black Professionals on Saturday, Oct. 30 at 7 p.m. EST will unveil the BPM Global 100 publication profiling the BPM leading Black professionals worldwide. In addition to the virtual sessions, workshops and DEI conference, BPM will host a virtual Faith Works Friday session each Friday beginning Oct. 8 from 12 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. to explore the role of faith in the careers and personal lives of Black professionals.
