Acts 4 Ministry To Benefit From Trivia Night Live Fundraiser October 28

WATERBURY, Conn. - Oct. 7, 2021 - PRLog -- Acts 4 Ministry, the non-denominational non-profit at 1713 Thomaston Avenue in Waterbury, will benefit from an in-person Trivia Night Live fundraiser on Thursday, October 28, 2021.

The event will be held at The Bible Church at 240 Dwight Street in Waterbury with doors opening at 6:00 and the event will be between 7:00 and 8:30 p.m. The fundraiser will be hosted by Get Your Entertainment On (GYEO) and sponsored by Thomaston Savings Bank.

"This is our first in-person fundraiser in over one year," explained Acts 4 Ministry Executive Director Sarah Elizabeth Carabetta, "and we are looking forward to welcoming many participants. All the funds raised will help us support the daily needs of families and individuals who are in dire financial distress."

Acts 4 Ministry is a group of a volunteer board of directors, staff, and volunteers who desire to share God's love by meeting the comforting needs of others. "We work toward this goal every day," explained Acts 4 Ministry Chairman of the Board John Bishop. "This live fundraising event helps us continue our work within the community to collect and redistribute needed furnishings and household items to people in need of assistance."

The event's sponsor, Thomaston Savings Bank, is a full-service, mutual savings bank headquartered in Thomaston, CT. Individuals unable to attend this fundraiser can donate $10 towards the organization's Undergarment Fund that provides their clients with a new pair of underwear for every day of each week.
