Who Knew Atlanta Would Win the World Series? Strat-O-Matic Did!

GLEN HEAD, N.Y. - Nov. 3, 2021 - PRLog -- On April 1, Strat-O-Matic presented its annual Opening Day baseball season simulation (https://www.strat-o-matic.com/announcements/strat-o-matic-2021-season-sim/). How did we do? Well, we had seven of the 10 playoff teams tabbed, and our World Series winner was... drumroll, please: Atlanta!

What else did we peg right back in April? We had three of the playoff seeds (Milwaukee, Atlanta, St. Louis) exactly right, the Cardinals losing the Wild Card game, the home run leader clubbing 48, Julio Urias as the major league wins leader, and the Braves beating the Brewers in the NLDS on the way to the title.

As for awards, we're liking our chances with Gerrit Cole as our simulated A.L. Cy Young when it's announced in a couple of weeks.
