By: Birla Academy of Art & Culture CAST – The Enthralling Solo Exhibition by Paresh Maity Paresh Maity is organizing a solo exhibition and installation at the Birla Academy lawn. Academy delightedly invites everyone to preview CAST. The exhibition will be inaugurated on 13th November 2021, Saturday, from 3.00 PM onwards. The exhibition will be on view from 14th November 2021 to 16th December 2021 from 3PM to 8 PM. The exhibition is open for all everyday except on Mondays. Birla Academy of Art & Culture has brought a real good news for artistic people in this pandemic situation! CAST is deeply rooted in history and has historical essence in every aspect. The exhibition showcases the journey and experiences of the artist, Paresh Maity, from his early childhood. In his early life, he has closely observed the process of idol making in his native place Tamluk. It is from this incident that he got his inspiration for creative journey. All these stories find an artistic expression in a series of sculptures made from junk material, brass and bronze. Audience will be surely pleased to be a part of such a solo exhibition. Birla Academy is observing all COVID-19 precautions. The Academy is looking forward to see some enthusiastic audiences at the exhibition!
