WASHINGTON - Nov. 13, 2021 - PRLog -- The November issue of SPEAKERS magazine features, Dr. Cheryl Wood, a native of Baltimore, Maryland. She is an international speaker who lights up the stage with a consistent authentic message that empowers. She is the founder of SpeakerCon and is a successful speaker because she has an attitude of gratitude and stays focused. The cover story, written by Cier Black, tells her story.

In 12 years, Dr. Cheryl Wood has shared the stage and space with countless iconic and magnificent speakers. Among these are mentors whom she is grateful for having positively impacted and guided her speaker's journey. Yet, what has been most impactful has been the unsolicited responses of gratitude she receives from audiences once she steps off of the stage. This gratitude is what empowers Dr. Cheryl's stance and allows her (being in the midst of other gurus) to say with conviction, "I belong here."

Being a keynote speaker on memorable stages, Dr. Cheryl states that her most thrilling experience was at a local university in Pretoria, South Africa. The sincerity, genuineness, and gratitude earned from her audience of girls were life-changing for her and by far the most dynamic and gracious speaking opportunity she has had in her career.

Early in Dr. Wood's career her message was about "Being Fearless, Focused, and Fulfilled," today, she is master speaker development coach for women. She is committed to empowering and equipping women with the tools to courageously share their unique voice, their story, and their subject matter expertise.

The November issue of Speakers Magazine is filled with 10 speakers that Dr. Cheryl has mentored. It's like a "takeover" issue, says Pam Perry (http://www.pamperrypr.com/), publisher. "She takes the normalized speaker and propels them to become magnetic at the mic." Speakers Magazine is the official magazine of the Black Speakers Network.

The November featured speakers are:
  • Michelle S. Thomas
  • Barbara J. Beckley
  • Angela Brand
  • Shawnta M. Ball
  • Wendy Garvin Mayo
  • Rachelle Middleton
  • Tanya D. Powell
  • Dr. Onika L. Shirley
  • Constance Woulard

"Dr. Cheryl Wood and her Vocalize Women Speakers Academy are the epitome of excellence and gratitude. We are grateful to have this takeover issue distributed at the Awards Gala for SpeakerCon. Celebrating Black Speakers is what we're all about," said Pam Perry.
