LUDECKE and XTM Introduce Translation Solution for SAP Systems

BERLIN - Dec. 2, 2021 - PRLog -- LUDECKE GmbH releases XTM Connect for SAP® Systems, its tool for translating texts from SAP systems. The new version of the tool integrates with XTM Cloud – the Translation Management System from XTM International. At the same time, LUDECKE and XTM also announce their new partnership.

With the new tool, LUDECKE's customers now have access to a cloud-based translation environment that is easy to use but still offers very powerful features for translators. This solves an important issue for companies running SAP that need to translate custom-developed Fiori apps, SAP-GUI-based transactions, or other texts created in SAP systems. The new XTM integration allows translators who are not familiar with the inner workings of SAP systems to translate SAP texts. At the same time, the translators have access to all the features that XTM Cloud offers, such as ID-based translation.

For companies running SAP, this means that for the first time, there is a translation solution that employees in subsidiaries abroad can use without extensive training. And for IT teams managing the translation of texts in their SAP system, there are also significant improvements. The XTM Connect for SAP® System takes file handling out of the equation – instead of exporting Excel or XML files, the texts to be translated are pushed to XTM Cloud with only a couple of clicks, and the translators simply get an e-mail with a link to the translation environment where the texts have been prepared for them.
